Tell Oprah God will not share His Glory

“I am the Jehovah: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images” Isaiah 42:8

It is hard to give God's word  rightly and still be liked by men.  so I know there are going to be people that will never read another thing I write because of this. There will be people that will hate me for what I'm writing, However if just one saint would be enlightened, or one unbeliever is made to believe than my words are not in vain.
If you were like the millions of people that watched the Oprah farewell and praised her good works, then  read further, because it is important that you understand these few verses that I'm sure everyone knows, and the revelation of them which I believe is given from God. It is so easy to say that God has told you something  but as I always say test the scripture against what I write and let the scripture reveal what is right. So here goes.

Concerning Oprah
As Christians we have to be careful just who we add to our ranks. In 2008 on public TV Oprah said “There couldn't possibly be just one way to God” in fact denying Jesus and calling him a liar, then  without ever having a spiritual encounter with God, this we know because she so proudly puts her personal life in public, without repentance from her sin (pride), without retracting the statement she made which calls Christ a liar,  she now professes that "Jesus is the reason for her show's success

This is a façade that we as true Christians must see through;  What Oprah is doing is trying to end her public career on a good note so she could have the praises of men.  But her retirement won't last long her pride won't let here stay out of the limelight. She must equate  here with God in the praises of men which she desires. Nothing up until this point said she even knew who Jesus was. Now her success she attributes to His name?  Saint this is nothing new

Matthew 7:22-23  Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity

This whole great farewell was to make herself glorious to men. Ask yourself how many great entertainers ended their career quietly in private, but not her. She had to be glorified, and the sad thing is many so called Christians came out to glorify her. Yet many of the same Christian have failed to do as much for Jesus. Sadly I am comparing the works of Christians for Jesus against the works of Christians for Oprah.Other than me does anyone see anything wrong here?

Churches opened the doors to their communities to watch Oprah’s final show on big screen TVs, yet though they are supposed to, they have failed to open the doors to their communities to teach them to worship  Christ.
Woe to you , Oh men of faith,  for it is a horrible thing to find yourself in the hands of an Angry God.

In Isaiah 42:8 God says “I am the Jehovah: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images”

Yet  this entire  country, even many of the deceived elect  have  given God’s glory, which is praise of his goodness to Oprah. Don’t be fooled,churches have not united as well for Jesus, as they have been of one mind for Oprah! and for this God will whole this whole country accountable.

In your Lodebar

"Be still and know that I am God" (Psalm 46:10) .
There may come a time in your walk with God in which He sets you in a place of isolation just waiting for His grace to rescue you.   Just as we read in 2 Samuel 9 of Mephibosheth, the once heir apparent of all Israel was regulated by God to a place of Lodebar [1]. God has put you in a spiritual Lodebar. It is a place in which all past experiences are of no value, your education, and your contacts, even your resources can not pull you from this desolation.  It is a time of such stillness where God does not even speak to you. It is as if there is a wall around you, fending off any good that may come your way.

No new opportunities –
No positive way for escape
Even your prayers seem overlooked by God.

Yet you are faithful, though God seems to have put your needs on the back burner, you remain faithful.

You see the prosperity of everyone around you, sinners and saint alike, even those in their own foolishness prosper and attain worldly gain. Yet nothing comes to you.

You know this affliction is only for a season.
You know God has not forsaken you;
He is dredging you through the heat of the furnace that He might skim all the impurities of your past.

He has shut every door, and made impotent every resource; He as broken your hopes of rescue from this affliction, and you know for sure that none can save you but Him.

Yet, this is not a test, tests are for men;
His intent is godly. Like a potter, the artist of the universe is massaging you to His desired shape, and fashioning you to His presupposed expectation.

But the work of the potter is painful to the clay.  Excruciatingly, the will of God painfully shapes and reshapes the image of you that has brought you so much success up to this point.
Dissecting you like a high school science project, God reveals the hidden parts of your essence, slicing away at your ego, and pride, and self-worth,  even to the dividing  of your  soul and spirit, cutting  joints from marrow; He  judges the thoughts and attitudes of your  heart.

Deeper and deeper you moan with guttural prayers too intense for words;  not even realizing that your faith is strengthening in your own hopelessness. Yet the pain which should have ended you, quickens your mortal body.

While each night in tearful prayer you present you arguments before the Judge of the universe; trying to proselytize God of your immediate need for emancipation from these painful and dreadful circumstances

You cry out from the deepest recesses of your soul
"Help me God! Do something anything my God!  Rescue me, I need You right away!" And His quite still voice whispers;

"Be still and know that I am God"

He has not rescued you, because He already has you;
He has not fixed your heart (problem), because He is replacing it with a new one. Though you are exhausted and worn out, God is fueling you with His Spirit. And the person that you once were, is only a shell of the new person He is creating you to be.

Yet you suffer on still trying to know God by His hand, all the while God is trying to show you His face...

and the quite still voice whispers once again, reminding of the confidence you should have already had...

Your Brother in Christ
Soli Deo Gloria

[1] The meaning of Lodebar is not pasture, or no communication

This post was inspired from Os Hilman (The Place of Nothingness) I change some word of it to suit my style but it is the anointing of God on him that wrote this not me.
