in season and out of season
2 Timothy 4:1-2 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; [2] Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. God has only required us to give the gospel, at two times; the first is in season, and the second is out of season. But sometimes when it’s out of season we forget the power of the Gospel which makes the time always the right time to reveal Jesus to those that don’t know him. We think within ourselves, “They don’t want to hear about my Jesus” they will never accept what I have to tell them” But the issue is not does he want to hear about Jesus, it is do they need to hear about Jesus? sometimes when we witness to the lost they won't receive it. that's perfectly OK we have done as Jesus required of us which is to be "good and faithful servants" Moreover Jesus never said to anyone “You good and ...
