Humble Your Denomination As I write this to you I feel a need to first explain the biblical meaning of  denomination, in order to give some clarity on The Apostle Paul’s first letter to the church at Corinth ( 1Cor 14:14-23 ).  We spoke about this on Friday when we addressed you’re going to church with members of your family while at your family reunion. I was reading a post by a John Stone the author of “ Why the Christian view of Gays does Not work” , and just like so many others who seek to manipulate the foundation of Christianity. I see Mr. Stone for what he is; a homosexual seeking to impose his view on all Christianity. But unlike the atheists I respond to, Mr Stone does not hate God, he only wants God to repent from His word and accept homosexual  so that he can both love God and make love to his brother. Now I will probably hold Mr. Stone in higher regard then the others only in that he seeks God in his own mind, it just he has not allowed scripture and Holy Spirit to have their way with him. It is very clear what the bible says about men having sex with other men, ( Lev 18:22, 20:13 ,) while the New Testament includes the same act among women ( Rom 1:26-27 ) However, I don't think this is the issue of Mr. Stones's post. Peculiar People For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God, and the LORD hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth Deuteronomy 14:2 (KJV) The way we interact with people can often determine whether we rightly represent Christ in our everyday life or if we are just blending in as one of the multitudes.    Laughing at off-color jokes, or saying nothing during gossip, or in an immoral situation giving permission to the person telling the joke, or gossiping    that it is OK to continue in your presence. If we fail to laugh, we discourage this behavior. Asking before they start “ Is this a clean joke ? ”, or are you about to gossip?
