Tell Oprah God will not share His Glory

“I am the Jehovah: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images” Isaiah 42:8

It is hard to give God's word  rightly and still be liked by men.  so I know there are going to be people that will never read another thing I write because of this. There will be people that will hate me for what I'm writing, However if just one saint would be enlightened, or one unbeliever is made to believe than my words are not in vain.
 .
If you were like the millions of people that watched the Oprah farewell and praised her good works, then  read further, because it is important that you understand these few verses that I'm sure everyone knows, and the revelation of them which I believe is given from God. It is so easy to say that God has told you something  but as I always say test the scripture against what I write and let the scripture reveal what is right. So here goes.

Concerning Oprah
As Christians we have to be careful just who we add to our ranks. In 2008 on public TV Oprah said “There couldn't possibly be just one way to God” in fact denying Jesus and calling him a liar, then  without ever having a spiritual encounter with God, this we know because she so proudly puts her personal life in public, without repentance from her sin (pride), without retracting the statement she made which calls Christ a liar,  she now professes that "Jesus is the reason for her show's success

This is a façade that we as true Christians must see through;  What Oprah is doing is trying to end her public career on a good note so she could have the praises of men.  But her retirement won't last long her pride won't let here stay out of the limelight. She must equate  here with God in the praises of men which she desires. Nothing up until this point said she even knew who Jesus was. Now her success she attributes to His name?  Saint this is nothing new

Matthew 7:22-23  Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity

This whole great farewell was to make herself glorious to men. Ask yourself how many great entertainers ended their career quietly in private, but not her. She had to be glorified, and the sad thing is many so called Christians came out to glorify her. Yet many of the same Christian have failed to do as much for Jesus. Sadly I am comparing the works of Christians for Jesus against the works of Christians for Oprah.Other than me does anyone see anything wrong here?

Churches opened the doors to their communities to watch Oprah’s final show on big screen TVs, yet though they are supposed to, they have failed to open the doors to their communities to teach them to worship  Christ.
Woe to you , Oh men of faith,  for it is a horrible thing to find yourself in the hands of an Angry God.

In Isaiah 42:8 God says “I am the Jehovah: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images”

Yet  this entire  country, even many of the deceived elect  have  given God’s glory, which is praise of his goodness to Oprah. Don’t be fooled, churches have not united as well for Jesus, as they have been of one mind for Oprah! and for this God will whole this whole country accountable.

Soli Deo Gloria

  1. In my church voice "You betta come on". You are so on point! We as a society have been fooled into believing that those on the Forbes list should be worshipped. Some folk will cheer and even cry for Oprah, but sit down on Jesus! You are right, He is not pleased.

Reminds me of when Michael Jackson died. I was in Target and people were falling over in the aisles talking about the King of Pop is dead. My thought (and one that I verbally shared)...What about the King of Kings??? It was so weird that so many people had such an emotional reaction over a man, but these same people, some Christian deny God's power!

I have not seen Oprah's final show, nor the final season (except for the one on the Freedom Riders)...but I will go and view it so I can have a reference for what you are talking about....I'm sure I'll have more thoughts when I read it!

    Have a great weekend!

  2. The word of God is true that we should not give glory to anyone except God .I want to talk about us Christians that most pastors want to exalted themselves instead of Jesus .When I go to church in most churches people are busy talking about themselves instead of what Jesus is doing so that he can receive Glory .God can use you but you are just an instrument but He that holds you deserve the honor.Leaders in church beware ,follow the example of Jesus ,He was humble .He was not asking people about money but about giving their life to him .Preachers talk about money ,nobody talks about sin and the wages of it .
